It’s a 775mm beast that pumps out 2000W, and it does it fast. Why carbon fiber? Here’s the thing: standard nichrome wire is fine, but carbon fiber is on another level. It handles higher currents without breaking a sweat. For you, that means the heater hits its target temperature way faster, which kills those annoying cycle times. Plus, you’re not just heating the surface of your material. The infrared emission actually penetrates deep inside. It’s a much more efficient way to get the job done. The build We went with quartz for the tube because it’s basically invisible to infrared radiation. Instead of the tube soaking up the heat, the energy shoots straight through to your workpiece. Inside, the carbon fiber core is vacuum-sealed. This is critical. If that seal leaks, oxygen gets in and the element burns out. Simple as that. A few things to watch out for When you’re wiring this up, make sure your power supply is rock solid. 2000W creates a massive amount of radiant heat. If you don’t pick the right reflectors or housing, you might find your chassis warping. Not a great look. These are great for PET blowing and drying lines, but please, be gentle when you mount them. Quartz is tough until it isn’t. If you bend or stress the tube during installation, it’ll crack. And one last tip:Keep it clean. Seriously. If you leave fingerprints or oil smudges on the quartz, those spots will overheat and the glass will fail. Grab some isopropyl alcohol and give it a good wipe before you flip the switch. Your heater will thank you.
