In plain English? The heat actually sinks into plastics and coatings rather than just bouncing off the surface. Getting the heat right We’ve dialed these in at 700W over 360mm. This is the sweet spot. It gives you a steady flow of heat across the whole piece so you don’t end up with those annoying hot spots that ruin a part. And the speed is wild. Carbon fiber doesn’t have that heavy “thermal drag” that metal does. You flip the switch, and it hits the target temperature almost instantly. How they’re built We wrap the filament in high-purity quartz glass. It keeps the carbon fiber safe from oxidation and makes sure all that energy is beamed exactly where it needs to go. Plus, we use standard industrial connectors. You can just pop them into your existing setup without having to rewire half your factory. One cool detail: the ends of the lamp run a bit cooler than the middle. This takes the pressure off the seals, which means they don’t burn out nearly as fast. Where to use them (and what to watch out for) You’ll see these doing the heavy lifting in PET blowing, shrink wrapping, or paint curing lines. They just play better with polymers.
